SafeICP will assemble and test a safe, bedside, easy-to-operate and low-cost monitor of microvascular cerebral blood flow based on photonics. This device, enhanced by machine learning, will help to monitor neuronal pathologies and help with their diagnosis and treatment by assessing both the absolute values and alterations of intracranial pressure (ICP).
Safe & non-invasive
Bedside & portable
Easy- to operate & low-cost
Our device
Current clinical devices that monitor intracranial pressure and mean arterial pressure are invasive. The SafeICP device will be non-invasive, based on the physics of photon propagation in tissues and the statistics of laser speckles of diffuse light.
